9 months in South America and North America

When I was in my early 30's, I made a promise to myself : "Girl, by 35, I want you to do be in a place that you would have chosen, not imposed on by the routine ! It can be a new home, a new city, a new job, but it needs to make you happy and you need to enjoy your life !". It is only lately that I have remembered that promise... I'm now 35 and I have realised that I'm the only one responsible for my own happiness. So I have quit my comfortable job in London and decided to go on another adventure...

Buenos Aires, Argentine

                                                           ---------------------------

When I land in Buenos Aires at 5am, I jump on the first bus which takes me to town. My eyes half closed, I don't understand what's happening. Where am I ? Buenos Aires strongly resembles Paris. I will learn later that the architects adopted the Parisian style to snub the Spanish conquistadors. The atmosphere is relaxed in this capital. We feel safe. During certain moments, some streets even remind me of Montreal in Canada.

My friend Olivier from Paris joins me here and we will travel together for 2 weeks in Patagonia. Of course, he brings me some saucisson and camembert that we will share with our 2 Dutch friends met at the hostel. We will visit together the capital and will taste the famous Argentinian steaks, a real marvel. We also make the acquaintance of Patricia and Hernan, friends of my friend Florence from Paris. They take us to a beautiful concert of Tango, the traditional dance in Argentine.
