18 months & 21,000 km cycling
from Cambrai in France to Cambrai in Australia

On the 12 February 2011, I embarked on an amazing adventure, crossing 18 countries through Europe, Asia and Australia, on my bicycle, pedalling 21,000 km during 18 months. It was a crazy but fabulous experience.

Starting from Cambrai in France, the idea was to reach another small town called Cambrai in South Australia. The journey was long but priceless : enduring the winter through Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, tasting the potholes of Poland and Ukraine, fighting against the strong headwind of Russia, riding along the silk road through Kazakhstan and Ouzbekistan, loving and hating the great mountains of Kyrgystan, discovering the diverse landscaped country of China, eating our first baguette in Vietnam, exploring Cambodia where my parents used to live, being pleasantly surprised by the touristy but welcoming Thailand, swimming with giant turtles in Malaysia, resting with friends in Singapore and finally almost giving up in desert bush of Australia.

Below are some of the best memories of the trip. If you want to know more, please go on the blog www.cambrai-cambrai.net, it contains daily articles, photos and videos!
