Grâce à Alejo, mon ami Colombien de Paris, nous sommes reçues à Popayan chez sa famille. Nous passerons 5 jours géniaux en compagnie de sa Maman Luz Myrian, son frérot Juan David et de sa petite soeur Mariana. Nous avons surtout mangé, mangé et mangé à presque tout ce qui possible de gouter à Popayan (mais cela fera parti du prochain article).

Lorsqu'on arrive, le Carnaval des Noirs et des Blancs de Pasto continue ici sous le nom du festival des Rois Mages. On s'était fait très légèrement arrosées de mousse à Pasto. Cette fois-ci on prend notre revanche. Nous mettons notre argent et nos portables dans des mini-sacs plastiques dans nos poches, et nous nous munissons des Cariocas, ces sprays de mousse ! Certains se munissent des bombes à eaux, farines et peintures. Nous sommes prêts pour le combat : c'est la folie dans les rues de Popayan !

Thanks to my Colombian friend Alejo from Paris, we are welcomed in Popayan by his family. We will spend 5 awesome days with his mum Luz Myrian, his brother Juan David and his little sister Mariana. We have mainly eaten, eaten and eaten all the food that we can possibly taste in Popayan (but this will be for the next article).

When we arrive, the Carnival of the Negros and Blancos carries on here under the name of Carnival of the Three Kings. We were slightly sprayed on of foam in Pasto. This time, we will get our revenge. We put our wallet and mobile in small plastics bags in our pockets, and we arm ouselves with Cariocas, those famous foam sprays. Some people use water balloons, flour and paint. We are ready for the battle : it's madness in the streets of Popayan !
