9 months in South America and North America

When I was in my early 30's, I made a promise to myself : "Girl, by 35, I want you to do be in a place that you would have chosen, not imposed on by the routine ! It can be a new home, a new city, a new job, but it needs to make you happy and you need to enjoy your life !". It is only lately that I have remembered that promise... I'm now 35 and I have realised that I'm the only one responsible for my own happiness. So I have quit my comfortable job in London and decided to go on another adventure...

Parc National Tayrona, Colombia

I was lucky to have spent 3 days at the National Park of Tayrona, in the North of Colombia. After paying a entrance fee, one can stay as long as one wishes.

The park of Tayrona gathers magnificent beaches, the first one being reachable after an 1H30 walk on a dream hiking trail. One can therefore do a "beach crawl" and try each of them. My favorite one was called La Piscina.

I have also done a small hike inside the Park to reach the indigenous village of Pueblito. The landscape were breathtaking. A bit of scrambling was necessary to pass the big rocks under the heavy heat of the tropical jungle.

Instead of doing again the same hike of 2H30 that I did yesterday to reach the beach of Cabo San Juan where starts the trek, I take a horse today to save some time (ok I admit I woke up very late...)
